[Japanese Speaker] Procurement Executive (Mid/Sr. Level)

Position Level Senior Executive Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector. Proficiency in Japanese (spoken, read and written) is mandatory; JLPT N2 or above is preferred. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4 HANA) is an advantage. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge of Ebara’s product range or experience in the pump and industrial equipment industry is an advantage. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand material and service requirements. Maintain and build relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and quality expectations. Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure timely delivery. Prepare and review purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications. Coordinate with headquarter (Japan), Japanese suppliers and stakeholders, facilitating seamless communication and documentation in Japanese. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Generate reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Qualification Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree
